IN DEFENCE OF STAY AT HOME MOMS

Dear Readers:
I went for a job today, I wrote down of the application, that I had been a stay at home mom for the past 29 years. In the eyes of the employer, that was nothing. I no longer was employerable. Well in defence of the stay-at-home-mom, I would have you all out there who are looking for some one to work you are making a big mistake not hiring the stay at home mom especially the one who have raised two US Soldiers, one counselor, 3rd year college student, high school senior and a freshmen in high school. I have owned 4 four properties, ran a house, widowed twice, balanced the check book, student counselor representative, baptist training union/teacher, vacation bible class teacher, attendented the soft ball games of the children, evicted the tenants, kept the records of the ones who did not pay, (many) attending and defending code violations with the city, kept the names, addresses and rent schedules, payment amount, due dates, IRS records and taught my grandson his ABC'S that should accounta for something. Don't you think?
